01. About these terms.
These are the terms on which we — Mit Kit — sell products to you. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before you buy.
These terms only apply to customers who are buying for personal use (consumers). If you're buying for business use, please get in touch, as different terms apply.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
02. Who we are.
Mit Kit is operated by:
Mit Kit — Accessories FZCO (trading as Mit Kit)
Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Company registration number: 68393
Email: info@mitkit.com
Throughout these terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the company above.
03. Placing an order.
When you place an order through our website:
- You're making an offer to buy the products at the price shown
- You'll receive an automatic email confirming we've received your order — this is an acknowledgement, not yet an acceptance
- The contract between us is only formed when we dispatch your order. You'll receive a separate dispatch email at that point
- If for any reason we can't fulfil your order — for example, stock issues, pricing errors, or fraud concerns — we'll let you know and refund any payment taken
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, at our discretion
To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract under UK law.
04. Prices and payment.
- All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include any applicable taxes
- Delivery costs are shown separately at checkout, before you confirm your order
- We accept payment through our approved payment providers, including Shopify Payments, major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal
- Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order
- We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate. Very occasionally, an error may occur. If we discover an obvious pricing error after you've ordered, we'll let you know and you'll have the choice to either proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund
05. Delivery.
We aim to dispatch every order within 24 hours. Estimated delivery times, costs, and options are set out in our Shipping Policy.
- We deliver only within the United Kingdom
- Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees — unless a specific guaranteed service has been purchased
- Risk in your order passes to you on delivery. This means: once the goods reach you, they are your responsibility
- If you're not at home when a delivery is attempted, the courier will follow their normal process (re-delivery, drop at a safe place, or collection point)
- If your order hasn't arrived within 7 working days of dispatch, please contact us and we'll investigate
06. Returns and refunds.
The Mit Kit is a sealed intimate hygiene product. In line with Regulation 28(3)(a) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, we operate a final-sale policy: we cannot accept change-of-mind returns, whether the hygiene seal is intact or not.
We do accept returns in three specific cases: damage on arrival, an incorrect item received, or a manufacturing defect. Full details — including timeframes, how to start a return, and your rights under UK law — are set out in our Returns Policy.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods.
07. Product quality and our responsibility.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we're required to provide products that are:
- Of satisfactory quality — free from defects, durable, safe, and in good condition
- Fit for purpose — working as reasonably expected
- As described — matching the descriptions and images shown on our website
If a product you've received doesn't meet these standards, you have the right to:
- A full refund if reported within 30 days of delivery (short-term right to reject)
- A repair or replacement within the first 6 months of delivery
- A partial or full refund if a repair or replacement isn't possible or satisfactory
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at info@mitkit.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
08. Intellectual property.
All content on our website — including logos, brand names, product names, photography, illustrations, design, text, and code — is owned by us or licensed to us. It's protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view, share, and print the content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
The name "Mit Kit" and associated marks are trademarks. Unauthorised use is not permitted.
09. Acceptable use of the website.
By using our website, you agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other users' accounts, or any data we hold
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from our site without our written permission
- Use the site to harass, impersonate, or harm any other person
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the site — and to refuse or cancel any order — where we believe these terms are being breached.
10. Our liability to you.
We take responsibility for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it's an obvious consequence of our breach, or if it was contemplated by both you and us at the time of your order.
We do not, however, accept liability for:
- Any business loss, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity — our products are for personal use only
- Any loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you placed your order
- Any loss caused by events outside our reasonable control (see section 11 below)
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Any matter where UK law does not permit us to limit our liability
11. Events outside our control.
We won't be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performing, our obligations to you if that failure or delay is caused by events outside our reasonable control — including, but not limited to: postal or courier delays, transport disruption, extreme weather, power or internet outages, industrial action, or actions of government or regulators.
If such an event happens and affects your order, we'll contact you as soon as reasonably possible to let you know, and we'll take reasonable steps to minimise the impact.
12. Changes to these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on our website at the time you placed your order. We'll keep previous versions available on request.
If we make significant changes, we'll update the "last updated" date at the bottom of this page.
13. Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them — or from your order — will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
Nothing in these terms takes away or reduces any rights you have as a consumer under UK law. For independent advice on your rights, you can contact Citizens Advice or visit gov.uk.
